Unlike other Japanese food, takoyaki is not expensive and as far as I know for only twenty five pesos (here in the Philippines) you can buy takoyaki.

Takoyaki is now a standard dish in Osaka that mostly served in buffet hotels. Takoyaki is a simple Japanese food that became popular all over the world. The time that I tried to eat takoyaki, at that moment I understand why the dish became popular.
